Waking up in Aspen, Colorado on your 40th birthday is pretty spectacular! We slept with the windows open and woke to the sounds of Main Street slowly waking up. As I peeked out our window, I realized that a Farmer's Market was being set up and if you know me, well, that was the best birthday present ever!
Micah and Kyle went out and got us hot tea and coffee, while Tiz and I got ready for the day. We wandered up and down the streets, browsed tents selling Colorado peaches, local artists displaying photography, paintings and jewelry, while not quite believing how perfect the weather was or the beauty of the surrounding mountains.
After our strolling, we saddled up on the Little Nell gondola and headed up the mountains. We soaked up all the views and did a bit of exploring before heading back down to find a bite for lunch. We had pizza for lunch followed by ice cream for the us sweet toothers. Much to my dismay, the little card reader wouldn't do group readings, so we opted out of the physic reading and instead, ended up in a little outdoor cocktail garden. For dinner, we ate at a quaint little steakhouse and ended our night at a little dance club called Escobars. It was a day of outdoor, mountain perfection, and turning 40 never felt so good!
This was definitely your “cup of tea” kinda day!! 💗. The little flower arrangement is beautiful. I couldn’t decide if those were roses or peonies in it..but so pretty and petite. You have some great pictures to remind you of your special day. I was wondering if you went to the Psychic Reader! Can’t imagine what the reading would have been trying to read all of your minds..😂😂😂😂
