I got a cozy second sleep under a rainy morning. Micah brought me lunch from my favorite deli- sandwich and banana pudding. I got some cozy porch time while it rained, reading, snuggling and doing my bible study. I made dirt cake. After school the boys, Micah, and I spent the afternoon golfing. For dinner, Micah made chili verde. I finished the day opening a sack full of goodies from my favorite boutique and a beautiful ring sparkling with jewels and vintage vibes.
I wanted a day at home, so Micah took the day off and kept me company, which was my favorite gift of all! The only real thing I asked for this year, was for a flag on my flagpole. It was no easy feat, but with some help and creative thinking, they got a rope up that 40 ft pole and my flag back up in her rightful place, waving in all her glory.
It was a simple day, filled with simple favorites, and perfection in every way.
Honestly, this sounds like the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!! Spending the day with your favorite guy and the boys, as well as enjoying most of your favorite things = perfection!! May 42 be a special year filled with love laughter and many blessings! Love y’all 😘
