After stockings, I cozied down on the couch and started It's a Wonderful Life.... a movie I am sad to say I have never watched, and even sadder to say I never got to finish! Maybe when the boys go back to school I can watch the ending! Anyways, while I rested, Micah got busy on breakfast. It was absolutely beautiful, so we opened the big doors and spent the afternoon out on the patio, eating and relaxing. If you can't have snow, I supposed runnerup is sunshine!
After we ate, we opened presents! We don't get the boys much from just us, but they did have a small stack to open and then Micah and I opened from each other too! After presents, we hit up the Par 3 course to soak up the day's last dose of sunshine. Then Remi and I finally got to make our Christmas cookies before bedtime.
It was a sunshiny Christmas and perfect in every way! I love this quite little life we have built and days at home, just being together, are my very favorite!

A perfect day! Breakfast looks delicious. Snow is always hoped for, but I’ll take sunshine everyday! Y’all have the perfect place to soak up the rays!! Ending with Christmas Cookies is like icing on the cake!! Glad you were feeling better!! Love y’all 😘
PS…Scout is telling Remi to get busy next year and bake fur baby cookies! 😉
