A Wrap on May...

This was the month that wrapped up freshman and sophomore year for the boys! It's hard to believe, but these years that are proving to be some of the best years yet, are going double speed!

Our favorite OSU senior at Signing Day, Roen eating us out house and home with his protein intake, Senior Sunday potluck at church, the girls making a new afternoon friend... and then proceeding to throw yelping fits when their turtle friend made his way back to the water, evening putting challenges with dad, sunset pictures that I will always share because they never get old, Benny snuggles making GeoGuesser homework more fun, after school snuggles with my fellow porch sitter, something about Benny snuggled up on my pink ruffle pillows making me smile, a rainy morning rainbow peaking out, a smarty pants Scout in glasses, doing an afternoon watercolor session with Mal over face time, my boy who still star gazes, watercolor postcards for a sweet friend who went on a mission trip, Remi keeping all our watercraft in tip-top, Roen doing what he does best- being social, and my boy who still unashamedly does Legos... all space themed, of course!

I do realize it's July and I'm just now wrapping up May, but hey, at least now, I've got lots of fun catching up material!

April Wrap-Up...

Spring is here, and I am loving every minute! Bring all the storms, all the rain, and all the blooming pops of color!! Oh, and of course, bring on SUMMER!

Our day-to-day in April looked something like this....

My furry gals waiting patiently for their treat balls, Benny holding her said treat ball with her paws in the cutest way, Remi getting to be on the local radio to represent Wildcat golf going to regionals, Remi still being the one who takes care of all my flag needs, Anne giving the girls all the love, storm watching from the best spot in the house (or patio), Benny deciding my bible was the best place for her to rest her head, Benny and Scout have a sweet little moment of napping together on the loveseat, Micah and Remi bringing home the gold at the church tournament, catching Remi and Scout during a serious homework session, and a little glimpse at my new spring flowers and swing pillows!

March Wrap-Up...

March brought unfiltered sunsets, Wednesday morning bible class luncheons with my sweet little old ladies x2, Remi plugging my flat tire, a napping Benny, an afternoon of golf with buddies, my child who lives life bold and vibrant... and then crashes an hour later, a scary movie with Roen and Benny, my most favorite Easter decoration of all, homework with Benny, the sweetest Easter brunch I've ever been invited to complete with hand-painted place cards, two bored teens on a weekend afternoon, Wednesday night youth group, and one of my favorite little watercolors mainly because his imperfect ears make me want to squeeze him. Lots of my Benny Boo and Ro... you can only guess where my other stinker was 99% of the time *wink*wink*!

March had to be one of my favorite months yet! My rose bushes put on their prettiest colors, rain showers gave nature a much needed refresh, and it is a time of year that reminds us all that each day brings fresh starts and new mercies each morning! I am thankful for His grace, which humbles and restores!

PS If you want to raise a son who can fix literally anything, let him run around as a toddler with tools and cords! Never did that boy like toys, and now I know why!

PSS I have always had a little soft spot in my heart for old people! Even as a little girl, my favorite church friends were the elderly. Some things never change!
