Remi's 10th Birthday...

This year, Remi had an entire Saturday with some really sweet boys and great friends. Before his guests arrived- there were 12 total boys- he had donuts with his best friend who stayed had stayed the night and opened presents from his Anne. It was a quiet little morning- the calm before the storm of sweaty, loud boys that would be invading the house soon.







Once his buddies all arrived, they wasted no time at all and set off to spend the day kayaking, swimming, on the pedal boat, fishing, playing backyard football, tubing and jet skiing- all some of his very favorite things. This group is full of strong personalities, outdoorsmen, daredevils, athletes, chess masters and I love every single one and their 100% boy personalities!







































Of course, there was critter catching! Lizards, caterpillars and frogs...





After lunch, I had the most adorable mint green ice cream truck pay the boys a visit. They all sat on towels at the end of the driveway barely able to contain their excitement. Just when the waiting was almost too much, we heard the tune of 'It's A Small World' ringing in the air. I think all the boys ended up getting rocket pops and my momma heart was so happy that they are all still little enough to get excited about the approaching song of an ice cream truck!













After all the fun had been had, we took boys home and execept for Remi's 4 closest friends who he had stay the night, the house was back to it's lower level of boy noise. We ended our full day of celebrating Remi with burgers, brownies, presents and a little more backyard football.





We woke up the next morning and made a feast for breakfast- Remi's request. Later that day, we all met up once more where these boys played a double header, winning both and ending the weekend perfectly!
