Tuesday morning, Roen had a headache and just seemed off. I texted his teacher to check on him and sure enough, he was in rare form. Freezing in his Dyslexia class and sitting out with his head in his lap during PE. When the nurse took his temp it was 102.
It took him all week to finally get fever free and his full energy back- he ended up missing the whole rest of the week, including his Valentine party. Just about the time he felt better, Micah and I both came down with the flu as well.
We are all finally back in tip-top, the boys are off to school, the sun is out, and even though the week was far from what I envisioned, Remi didn't get end up getting sick at all!
I got cabin fever pretty bad and so took lots of pictures of my sick boy. I hate him being sick, but he is the absolute best patient ever. He never complains, still has a smile or two and lets me love on him. He watched lots of Captain Underpants, we watched White Fang, sipped Sprite, ate his weight in popsicles and basically went from our bed, to the couch and then back to our bed. I sure am glad to have my smiley boy back!

There’s nothing worse than when your babies are sick. Such a helpless feeling 😢. So glad Remi dodged the flu bug and that the rest of you are feeling better. Roen looks whooped in some of the pictures. He had a cute attendant (aka Little Lady) 😉. Take care! Love y’all bunches! 😘
