Easter 2020...

We started our Easter celebrations on Saturday. We let the kids dye Easter eggs, Micah cooked up some yummy chicken tacos and then after dinner, we let the kids do an indoor egg hunt since it was rainy outside. We gave each kid their own color to hunt to make it a little more interesting. It was such a fun little evening and I was glad that we were able to continue our tradition of dying eggs together.

We let the kids dye eggs on the back porch and it was the perfect little place for them to get messy, colorful and glittery...

We made the kids wait in my bedroom while we hid the eggs...

Let the hunting begin...

Looking at all their treasures...

These times of quarantine look different for us all. I know we are all doing what we feel is best for our family and though I feel no need to justify the choices we are making for our family, I do want to say that we are doing our part to do what we feel is safe. The people in these pictures are the family we see daily. We have been with them every single day since all of this began, when we all shared a cabin together up in the mountains.

What a great Easter eve celebration! Lots of eggs to dye and find! Smart idea to use assigned colors to hunt. I bet they got a workout while hunting with all those stairs! Hope they found them all...if not and you smell a strange smell you know it’s only an egg ...not a dead animal! 😂😂😂
I agree that we’re all doing what we feel is safe for our family. No need to judge what others are doing! Prayers that all of you stay healthy! Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful gathering! Love and hugs to y’all! #staystrongdavenports 🥰
