Boat Dock Demo...

Our boat dock, fishing dock and retaining wall are all on their last legs. The boat literally has to be tied up because the motors on the lift are burnt out, the wood on the fishing dock has rotted and the retaining wall is in such bad shape that our waterfront is being washed away.

The day has finally come that we are getting all of this repaired and updated! I love a good demo day, seeing instant progress toward something new!

The boys also love it because the minute things start hitting the ground, they are there like vultures, gathering up scraps of the demolition! From the minute the crew arrived and started taking down the old wooden rails, the boys were out there getting pieces they wanted and then proceded to drag the dolly out to load it all up. Their plan is to build a boats with the wood they gathered, and they have been working pretty hard on their little creations.

I have been taking progress pictures and will be posting updates soon! It still has a long ways until completion, but it has been fun to watch the changes each day!

This is recycling at it’s finest!! I love how they play out “teamwork makes the dream work”! Oh to have the mind to have a vision and bring it to life! I can’t wait to see the finished product. Sending love and hugs!!🥰
