Celebrating With Friends...

This past weekend, we celebrated Remi's 11th Birthday with his closest buddies. The boys he chose ranged in age from 3rd-5th grade and really are the sweetest group of boys! He goes to school with all of them, plays baseball with a handful, golf with several others, and then others are bike riding buddies!

We spent the entire day with these 11 boys and they were all so well behaved! We started off by picking everyone up in a limo truck. We decided to do this, one, because we couldn't fit everyone in our vehicles, but also because riding together was way more fun!

After picking everyone up, we headed over to McKinney where we did escape rooms! We had to split the boys up into two groups, and Remi had already planned out who would go where. He chose to put all 6 5th graders in one room with Micah and then I took the younger group with me. It was really cool getting to see how all these personalities could work together under pressure. The older boys were able to escape with 15 minutes to spare- my group really didn't technically escape, but there were a few malfunctions, so they gave it to us anyway! Remi loved the escape rooms so much, that he is already planning his next trip!

From here, we took the boys over to Andretti's to see what we could get into. The indoor go-karts had a 4 hour wait, so we spent the next hour letting the boys play in the arcade. Keeping up with 11 boys in a very busy arcade was a bit stressful, but the boys loved it!

After spending their money and collecting their prizes, we finished off the night at Top Golf. The boys feasted on wings, macaroni bites, flatbread, burgers, and really had the very best time golfing while they ate. We had two lanes from 6-8, but really could have stayed longer- the boys loved it!

This is the first year the we didn't do a huge sleepover. They seem to get pretty chaotic, so I told Remi he could have a few spend the night. He chose his 4 closest buddies and after we got home, these boys were asleep in no time!

I love celebrating my boys with their favorite people and their favorite things! I think it is safe to say that Remi brought in 11 with a bang, a smile and lots of laughs!

How much fun can you pack in one day? Tons and tons!!! Looks like an amazing way to celebrate his special day. I’m so glad you like to take pictures...lots of them. It’s the next best thing to being there in person. The boys have smiles from beginning to end. I’d call that a successful day 👏🏻👏🏻 Someday they will look back and know you just can’t make old friends ❤️
Thanks so much for sharing!!! Have a great day...Friday’s coming 🤗
Love y’all bunches!
