Pumpkin Carving 2020...

On Thursday, we were finally able to squeeze in pumpkin carving after school. October just seemed to sneak right by! This has got to be one of their favorite days of the year, and the boys were very happy to have some friends join in on the carving fun!

Roen likes to go as fast as he can! He decided on a sea turtle, had me draw it out and then he had that pumpkin carved in no time! Remi wanted zero help and was the last one to finish, making sure every little detail was to his liking. He even went as far to extract ink from makers to use on the his pumpkins stitch marks as blood. This pretty much sums up how these boys of mine go through life- quick and efficient in everything Roen does, where Remi does everything with creative intensity!

I think their pumpkins turned out pretty cute and I was so happy we were able to squeeze this little tradition in, before Halloween!

Those are some awesome pumpkins! They all did a great job. Lots of detail. I love some of the expressions on their faces. I think Remi and Claire might have tied for first place in that area. 😂😂 Glad y’all were able to squeeze it in. And double glad Remi didn’t let that spoon full of pumpkin goo fly towards the photographer 😬
Love y’all bunches!!
