For the past month, I have been filling in as a UIL sub, until the coach returns to school- most likely after Christmas Break. Of all events, I was asked to help with the NumberSense team. It's pretty funny, considering how terribly bad I am at math! However, I was assured I would only be responsible for making sure they had a quiet classroom to take practice tests and keep them motivated! Math may not be my forte, but cheerleading, now that I can do!
Roen and two of his very best little friends happen to be on this team, and so we really have had the best time starting our mornings off with a little mental math!
Getting up to school by 7:20, ready to get these kiddos going, was a little harder than our normal morning routine, but we finally got it down pat and I have to say, I'm going to miss watcing these smiles light up as they met and surpassed their personal goals!
