Basketball Saturdays...

Our Saturdays continue to be filled with basketball! Last weekend, Covid cancelled all games, but we picked back up this weekend.

Roen's team got to play the 3rd grade Wildcats, which happens to be full of sweet little boys who are some of Roen's dearest friends. He is a pretty young 4th grader, so his friend circle extends to the grade below him as well as his own. The 4th graders came out ahead, not by a monumental amount, and it was awesome having the stands full of Wildcat fans cheering for both teams!

Remi's team got to play the 5th grade Knights- which is full of Remi's best buds from his old school. Oh, how special these friendships are! It was so fun getting to see his favorite Knights and play a bit of ball with them! His team also came out with a win, so the boys were all smiles!

Friday night, our varsity boys played their very last home game before they head into playoffs as district champs. This particular group of boys are pretty impressive to watch! We have senior who is the current leader for points in the ENTIRE STATE OF TEXAS and #5 in the country. Landon is a heck of player who radiates positivity on the court and is headed off to play college basketball! What an awesome role model he has been for these little Wildcats! It just so happened to be his birthday, so as the buzzer sounded, these boys ran onto the court singing Happy Birthday and were awarded a picture with the players- which they were all too honored to be in! So proud of our varsity Wildcats!
