This year for Spring Break, we did something a bit different.
With the boys having a baseball tournament the first weekend, it made our traditional ski trip a bit too rushed for us all. Although, we missed the mountain air with our crew, we were able to make Spring Break 2021 pretty awesome!
When brainstorming ideas for our week, Micah and I went through lots of different ideas of what we could do with the boys. We ended up going with a golf trip. Golf is something all three boys love and with baseball consuming our Spring, we decided this would be the perfect way to get in some fun, new courses!
Arizona happens to be full of amazingly beautiful courses, so we decided to head west for a little dessert golf! Micah made out our itenerary, and all three where about as happy and excited as you can get! An entire trip dedicated to golf- what could be more fun! I love riding around in the cart, taking pictures, so I was a happy camper too- buying a new mini golf wardrobe wasn't half bad either!
Day one, we flew out early, squeezed in a bite of pizza and got to our resort, The Grand Arizona, early enough to hop right in and played our first round that afternoon!
Golfing with these three, is a bit all over the place with feelings. It is an eagle and smiles one hole, it is realizing your getting beat the next, it is intense, maddening and then it trickles into laughs and silliness, just to roll into tempers flaring again, me saying I'm staying at the pool next round, only to end with us all saying it was the best round ever! All the while, all I'm trying to do is get a good tan, take some pictures and order one more mimosa! It is a hoot and a holler witnessing what goes on with these three on the course!
And in case you want to know what it's like to pack for a golf trip, well, it's lots of hats, color and coordinating...
Of course, he found a cactus needle to pick his teeth with! |

Day One looks amazing!!! You captured some really cute golfers and the course is awesome. Different from Lake Kiowa, but the cactus is a beautiful plant all in it's own. I can’t believe Remi was picking his teeth with a cactus needle...oh wait, yes I can! 😂 The wardrobe coordinator gets an A+. The pizza looks delicious. Truly a pizza pie. Looking at these pictures makes me want to go visit Arizona...maybe I’ll tag along next year 😜. I’ll be looking forward to Day 2...we might need to know how many mimosas it takes to survive these rounds of golf with three super competitive players!! Love y’all bunches!
