Day four was a day geared to Micah and Remi! We all love our fishing day and but Remi and Micah LOVE it the most! Remi always sets goals for the day- this year he wanted to catch a barracuda and a shark! This was the first year Roen didn't get queasy, but the Dramamine did make him a bit tired. We started off fishing in the deep right at the 7,000 ft drop and from there we headed over to do some reef fishing. We caught all kinds of grouper, Roen caught a squirrel fish and two Moray Eel, Remi caught his barracuda, but the best catch of the day was Remi's 6ft, 400 lb nurse shark! By the boat headed home after our long day on the water, Roen was already asleep!
We planned this night specifically for Chef Thomas to come cook, because we wanted to eat all of our catchings! He fixed our fish anyway you can imagine and they were all delicious! This was my favorite meal of the entire trip! He also let the boys help make homemade vanilla bean ice cream and pasta noodles for the requested mac-n-cheese! They loved the pasta cutting machine and as you can see, Remi especially liked making the noodles extra long!
By the end of dinner, these boys were exhausted! Doing the early mornings of excursion and fishing really had them craving a good night's sleep and a bit of sleeping in the next morning! I loved this day, getting to see Remi do one of his favorite things, getting to see an eel up close, watching the boys learn new things in the kitchen, this day was perfection!

This is so cool! Some of the fish they caught are beautiful. I have no idea what they are…but they’re awesome. It looks like a couple of chefs are in your future. That was a fun activity for them. Easy to see why this was a favorite day! Thanks for sharing…love y’all bunches!
