As our Fall season of golf goes from shorts to pants and pullovers, we have just about finished up with tournaments. The boys have played so many different courses, some great, some ok and some just pretty terrible. The competition has been pretty stiff and not one tournament this far has them placing in the top three.
Sometimes, it's not about winning, but about growing. I have seen so much growth in my little golfers. Growth in self control, growth in self confidence and growth in tournament play. These boys are learning what it means to put in the work for something they really want. They are learning, that with golf, the only person you can blame is yourself. They are learning recovery shots and they are seeing that practice and hard work always show on the course.
As basketball gets going, the boys will only have golf lessons once a week. We will do our best to keep their game well-oiled so that when spring rolls around, they can pick back up, with a little more play experience in their pocket than last spring!

So proud of both boys. Golf is such a mental game and so true that the only person you can get frustrated with is yourself. Exactly why I quit! 🤪
They sure are handsome. Glad they had enjoyed the tournaments. It will definitely be nice to be inside the gym during the next few months. Tell Roen the last two pictures of him are priceless! A reminder that he has the best outlook on life. He is not afraid to be a little goofy! May he always have the ability to make lemonade when life gives him lemons! Thanks for sharing!
Love y’all bunches 😘
