Pumpkin Carving...

This year, we didn't actually make it to the pumpkin patch, but we did make sure we got to do the best part... carving with friends. Every year, we get together,  have dinner, sketch out our jack-o-lantern faces and then start carving! Sometimes the kids partner up,  some want help, some don't want help at all, but in the end we always have a variety of spooky and fun carvings to show for our evening!

Pumpkin carving is one of my favorite days of the whole year and it never fails to be an evening full of fun memories with our crew. This year, after we cleaned up the pumpkin mess, took pictures and ate, the boys played a round of backyard football, while the girls cheered. This year was extra special, because for the first time, Briggs really got in on the action! Looking back over the years of us doing this, makes me realize just how fast time goes and how much these kiddos have grown.

These are the days...

Goodness, that looks like a fun day. They all did a great job carving pumpkins. I’m gonna have to visit with Roen about why he stuck his head in that pumpkin. 😳 I could see the slime hanging in one picture. 🤮 And surely Remi didn’t put that spoonful of seeds and slime in his mouth. Although, had I been there I would have bet him money he wouldn’t do it 🤣. Y’all have a great crew and make so many fun memories! I always enjoy seeing the pictures…next best thing to being there. Love y’all bunches! 😘
