Never in my wildest dreams did I anticipate the friendship that would form between my boys at 14 and 16. Something happened this summer, and they became friends. Not brothers who have no choice but to be in close proximity, but a friendship that has them choosing to spend much of their time together.
Around the same time that this happened, several other things coincided. Remi started dating Elle, Remi got his license and Roen became aware that Elle had a best friend that was available, interested and adorable.
Fast forward, and these four are snuggling up at games, the boys are picking the girls up from school and double dating any and every chance they get.
This season is bearing fruit of the sweetest variety and I can't say that I've ever had this much fun! There was a time I thought I might be a little protective when it came to the boys dating, but I have loved every minute of watching them love these sweet girls, hold their hands, take them on dates, spend their money on them.... it is a season that is allowing me to see them in a way I have never gotten to before. Little gentleman who feel so big, doing their best to treat these precious girls as good as they see their daddy treat me.

Awww…this is the best news!! I know your heart is so happy…not only to see your boys become best friends, but to see them grow into the kindest, sweetest young men!! These young ladies are lucky and oh so beautiful!! Blessings on both sides!
I will say there’s a few of us who weren’t sure how we felt seeing Ro holding hands in this picture…but just for a split second 😉😉
