A New Piece of Furniture...

Early last week, a piece of furniture I ordered months ago finally came in. There is a HUGE blank wall in our living room that needed some warmth. I picked this piece out of a magazine and though I never saw it in person, I just had a feeling it would work magic on this wall.

Micah thought it would be too big and in the way... I always hate it when he wants to make me doubt the things I know will work. Because of his feeling I have been anticipating it's arrival with excitement and nerves. If it was wrong in the space, there was literally nowhere in the house it would work and I had no idea what would come of it.

But... it is absolutely PERFECT!

If I could have built a piece for this wall, it would have been identical! It has a little charm of it's own that I just adore.

Here it is blank...



I have already filled several nooks and have big plans for the top. It will be finished being decorated soon and then I will share.

It is about 65 inches wide and comes to my chin... it is most defiantly the focal point of the room now.
