All four of us drove to school, parked, were greeted by sidewalk chalk graffiti, walked around the school not really knowing where to go, wandering the halls like the newbies we were, until we finally ended up in the gym with all the other students.
I walked into the gym and there I saw Brittney and Elizabeth smiling and I instantly knew it was all going to be ok. When it was time for me to go, they would still be there at school with my boys. I fought the tears hard- the first day always gets me, but this year, I had a whole other load of emotions I was juggling. I had text updates and pictures sent my way throughout the day and when I picked my boys up after school, they were both exhausted and happy!
And it was finally official... my boys were Wildcats!
