The 4th Grade Musical...

Last week, was Remi's 4th Grade Christmas Musical. Because our music teacher ended up with the flu, their performance had to be rescheduled for after Christmas Break. Remi requested to not have a speaking part- he is happy to participate, just more in a subtle way. Along with avoiding the spotlight when it comes to singing and dancing, Remi doesn't especially enjoy dressing-up either. We looked at many costumes and this little reindeer pullover was about as 'out there' as he could go. I am not sure where he gets this from because I LOVE dressing up any chance I get!

They had two performances- one during the school day so that the whole elementary could attend and then one in the evening for family and friends. I love that I got to see my sweet boy twice!

We were thoroughly entertained watching our little reindeer sing with all his classmates and friends. So many times up on that stage I saw him mimic Micah's mannerisms- in the way he stood, in the way he held his arms, even in his little facial expressions! What a wonderful performance and a fun evening!

Y'all, Roen's outfit in this picture! He matched at school that day and then right before Remi performed at 6:00, he ran and put on a blue shirt and hoodie... his sense of style is still as loud and colorful as he can be!

I bet that was a great performance! Cutest little reindeer ever❤️! I see Micah’s mannerisms in Remi from time to time. They are like sponges in the early years! And Roen looks great....remember maroon is the new black 😂. It’s kinda like cammo...goes with everything! These programs are when I wish I lived close so I could see them!
Love y’all!
