This year, we were able to sneak off to the mountains to ring in 2021... without kids!
As soon as Christmas was over, we loaded up and headed up to the cabin in Angelfire for some fresh mountain air and bit of relaxation. Originally, this was to be a girl's trip, but the men quickly realized they didn't really like the idea of being left behind. So, we agreed that they could tag along, under the condition that this trip be about doing nothing. Micah doesn't always 'do nothing' very well, so it had to be made clear, that he wasn't to start making plans for us all!
We played lots of games, the guys kept busy by cooking for us and running to the grocery store as needed. We started a new Netflix series, read by the fire, fed the deer and truly spent our 4 days relaxing with our crew! It was glorious in every single way!

Just a relaxing end to a crazy 2020. You girls look adorable in your 2021 glasses. Apparently you had some really tasty cookies...the deer gobbled it up. They have such sweet faces.....love their eyes! The sweater koozie is awesome! Where did you find that? I’m assuming it was Micah’s. Mom and Dad batteries recharged...ready for 2021! Glad y’all had fun and thankful for safe travels!!
