The week of Valentine's Day, we had some winter weather that created some pretty icy roads in our area. This meant that we got to have Wednesday and Thursday of that week off!
We woke as usual, thinking we would go in at 10:00. Then we received notice that school was canceled and the boys both did a little happy dance. We spent the day catching up on some reading, Valentine crafting and school work! It made what would have been a hectic week, a week with a little extra time to get things done!

The craziest weather that I can ever remember...and I’m old! Judging from the smiles of their faces they were some happy campers. Looks like the fur babies were happy too. Seeing the picture of Roen’s breakfast, it’s no wonder we make a good team...I like a little pancake with my syrup too! 😋😋😋
