We recently added a new little fur ball to our family!
Remi has wanted a dog for quite some time now. A dog was actually on his Santa list this year, but we convinced him to wait until this summer so he could have enough free time to train and take care of a dog.
Remi has been adamant about it being his dog and knows this means being the primary person to care for it. He wanted it to be black and white and to look just like one of his buddies dogs, which happens to be a mini Australian Sheppard. I ended up finding a puppy that met this description perfectly, so last Thursday when he got home from school, little Scout was anxiously waiting on his bed! Scout was a name that Remi had already picked out for his puppy once we found her.
It has been love at first sight and Remi has done a great job cleaning up her messes and taking care of her. He takes her on walks, smothers her with love and snuggles, and takes her anywhere he can! It has been a blast watching him with her!
Little Scout reminds me an awful lot of Remi! Ornery as they come, always into something, a little bit demanding, but full of the very best snuggles and the sweetest thing ever!

Hello Scout ♥️♥️ She is beautiful and so loved. You captured Remi’s love for her in every picture. She’s definitely going to have a blast with the Davenport’s! Just a little fur ball. I will look forward to watching the relationship between Remi and Scout grow! I thought for a minute that Roen had introduced her to Turtle 😬. Good luck with everything! There will be trying times ahead but oh so worth it. Give her an extra squeeze for me. Nothing better than puppy breath 🐶
