Charleston Day 3...

Day 3, we slept in a bit, grabbed tea and coffee,  and then head over to SNOB for a little brunch! Micah finally got his chicken and waffles and I had the most amazing peach cinnamon roll, and of course, hot tea!

After brunch, we did some exploring a bit outside of Charleston! Our first little stop was to see the famous Angel Oak on John's Island. This tree is estimated to be 400-500 years old, is gigantically massive, with branches that reach down to the ground, it was like a real life jungle gym!

From here, we headed over to the real jewel of the day, the Charleston Tea Garden! We went on several tours where we got go out into the fields to see the tea plants growing, learn how tea is harvested then got to take a peek into the tea factory! The icing on the cake was the tea tasting and gift shop full of tea goodies! My little tea-loving heart was in absolute heaven!

After our afternoon tea tour, we stopped for lunch at Baker & Brewer for pizza on the patio, followed by an evening nightcap at a hidden alley bar called Burns Alley. We ended our amazing day and time in Charleston with Netflix, milk and our mini cakes in bed!

Charleston is magical in every way! I loved the architecture, the streets full of quaint bookstores, boutiques, yummy food and the nostalgic colors covering homes and signage! I most definitely see a couple's trip here in the near future!

Another fun day! I love the oak tree…it’s beautiful! The tea tour was interesting. You only forgot one thing…pinkie up! 😂 I am wishing this wasn’t the last day, as I’m sure y’all were too. I’m surprised Micah didn’t get you out on a golf course while y’all were there. Guess that’s a good reason for a return visit 😉. Thanks so much for sharing this little getaway! Your adventures never disappoint. Love y’all bunches!
