The boys still love exploring and finding critters! They have had their eye on this little turtle for days now, and we finally had time to stop for them to get a closer look at this little guy! Soft-shelled turtles are so neat! Their little bellies are white and they have little trumpet shaped snouts! However, beware, because they have incredibly long necks- much longer than them common red slider- and they love to reach around for a hand nibble!
The boys were pretty excited when they found the turtle they had been seeing and after a few pictures, insisted we put him back in his little water hole so that next time we pass by, they can find him again!

They have a heart for critters! You are a trooper…I’m not sure I could embrace all the critters that they find. That is a really neat turtle. Will be interesting to see how much it has grown…if they find it again. Love all the adventures of the Davenport boys…and their momma!! I know Micah joins in when he can, but you are their faithful sidekick😉
