For Remi's 12th birthday celebration, we wanted to do something different and away from home. When I realized Dude Perfect would be in OKC around the time of his birthday and on our varsity football off-week, I knew this was the perfect idea!
We kept this a secret from all the boys, met right after school and once everyone had loaded their bags into the vehicles, we passed out t-shirts- this is how they figured out where we were headed. We were cutting it pretty close time wise, so after the big reveal, we headed straight to Oklahoma. The boys watched movies, snacked, played on their phones and were full of happy and excited chatter the whole way!
We weren't able to get all the tickets right beside each other, so I took the three younger kiddos and then two rows back, Micah had all of the 6th grade boys. After the show, we drove a few miles away to the AirBnB we had rented for the night. The next morning we loaded up and headed back home. What a fun time we had celebrating our 12 year old!
