I am still not sure how we did it, but in the middle of sports, full-time jobs, practices and homework, we were all able to get the children situated and we all snuck off to Vegas! This made our 5th trip with this crew and I think we have it nailed down pretty perfectly! Every time, I think we have finally topped all the others, but really, it just gets better and better!
This time, we went in honor of Tiz! Her birthday falls in a very busy time and celebrating her properly doesn't always happen. But this year, we did her up right! We were able to snag our favorite room at Wynn Encore and they even had a little cake waiting in the room for the birthday girl along with drinks and snacks!
As soon as we arrived and unpacked our bags, we Ubered on over to the best drinks in Vegas. It's a little blue roofed hut hidden right outside Cesars and there really are no better drinks! The drinks are hand muddled with fresh fruit and we always get the Maliberry! We did a bit of piddling before dinner at a group favorite, SWs. This steakhouse is always on our list and they never disappoint!
Our second day was spent lounging at the pool! We had a spiffy little cabana where we spent the morning before heading over for a dip in the pool! This night we had dinner in the room while we got ready for 'O' at the Bellagio. The guys didn't love this show and although it wasn't my favorite, I did love it!
Day three might have been my favorite! If you have never been to the spa at Wynn- go!! Never have I ever been to a better spa- it is to die for! We soaked up 80 minute massages with foot and hand scrubs, hung out sauna for a bit before grabbing one last glass of lemon cucumber water. The rest of this day was spent shopping all the pretty things we had spotted upon arrival. We got shoes, bags, perfume, clothes... shopping in Vegas is most definitely one of my favorite things to do! We ended the day with a low-key night, comfies and room service!
We have all come to the conclusion that 3 nights is the perfect amount of time. It's enough time to squeeze in all our favorites but short enough to keep us always wanting just a little bit more!

It looks like a fabulous getaway. So glad y’all got to celebrate Elizabeth, aka Tiz!! She’s definitely deserving of a big celebration 🎉. I love her birthday cake…so cute. It looks like y’all had a wonderful time. The hot air balloons, flowers and the hummingbird are beautiful. It would be fun to watch it be created. It’s almost like they have little elves that magically put everything together! Amazing! I know you said the guys weren’t excited about “O”, but at least they’re smiling in the picture. The photobombers are less than happy to be there 😂😂
