FriendsGiving 2023...

This year, Friendsgiving really snuck up on us all!

Micah and Kyle were just pulling back into town from a guy's golf trip and us moms were busy carting kids to and from school activities and holding down the fort. In the end, we decided to forgo all the hard work of a traditional Thanksgiving meal and went with quick and easy, finger foods. It ended up being just as much fun with a lot less work for us all. In fact, we had so much fun that I literally took only ONE picture. This is so unlike me, but at least it's a cute one...

Friendsgiving 2021...

We were able to sneak Friendsgiving in at the very end of our break! This little tradition has become a favorite for us all! This is when the kids make their lists for FriendsMas, which is equally a good time! These friends that are more like family bless our lives in many ways and I am so thankful for each and every one!

Friendsgiving 2020

This year, we hosted Friendsgiving with our closet crew! We had a few kiddos missing, but it was still a wonderful evening! We ended up foregoing the traditional meal since we celebrated only a few days before Thanksgiving where we would all be stuffing ourselves with turkey and dressing.

This is a tradition that we have all come to love!

Friendsgiving 2019...

Right before we left town for Thanksgiving with our own families, we had our annual Friendsgiving. This is an evening that is so very dear to my heart. These people are my village, my boy's village and the friends that are more like family. These are the people who make life one funny adventure after another.

I hope my boys will always remember these days with this group of friends.

Friends who are always with us on the weekends, friends who share a pew with us at church, friends who shuffle kids from house to house so we can do important things like get our lashes done, friends who bring our kids home from school at a last minutes notice, friends we share mid-week dinners with for no reason other than to just be together, friends who dog sit and feed each other's fish when we leave town, friends who make us laugh until our bellies hurt, friends that we are with more than apart. These are the people who have seen us at our worst and love us anyway.

Oh, how I love each and every one, from itty bitty Briggs, to curly haired Claire, all the loud, stinky boys, beautiful Berk, the dads who keep us in line, and my two bests- Momma Hen and the Bean...
