Operation 36 golf has started back up and even though Roen can't participate yet, Remi has already had his first competition day. He was paired with a good buddy and from 100 yards out, they both advanced to the next level. Next competition day, he will try for 36 or better from 150 yards. This little program is lots of fun!
Fall golf is cold and really hard to squeeze in after school because it gets dark so early! Monday, the boys had another Operation 36 Golf Challenge. We changed into golf attire in the car, met Micah at the driving range and raced against daylight the entire time.
With Fall baseball taking up so much time right now, our golf game is not at it's best. Neither Remi or Roen advanced to the next round, but I am not sure that any of the golfers did. It was pretty chilly and the kids were going as fast as they could before the sun set.
Regardless of the outcome, after school golf with your buddies is still pretty hard to beat!

Operation 36 for the Fall season has started back up!
The boys have had their first practice and just had their first competition day last week. Both boys started back where they left off at 100 yards. Roen was able to come in at a 34 to advance to the next round at 150 yards. Remi didn't have his best round so he will try again next competition day from 100 yards.
The boys get to do this with a pretty awesome group of boys! I love that after a hard day at school, they can end the day on the course with classmate buddies!
