Days at the New House...

These days may be chaotic, but never will I take for granted the memories we are making along the way! 

I found the most beautiful (handmade) dinning table that will take a bit to arrive, so for now the only table that will fit us all is our outdoor 10 seater. I hope that carpenter takes his time, because I'm a sucker for outdoor eating! We have had fast food, Micah's chili, homemade pizza night complete with Remi's homemade dough, hibachi, chicken salad lunch breaks with Anne, and everything in between! The boys have broken in the hot tub and Micah and I even had a little Friday afternoon swim date! The boys have had their fair share of after-dinner backyard putting sessions and of course, the dogs have been their for it all! Scout has claimed her indoor throne as the stair window seat and spends her days watching the world go by from an Eglish tufted velvet cushion! The boys are on the simulator with friends non-stop and this season of life is pretty darn wonderful with these boys of mine!

It feels so good being back on our little piece of heaven- I have missed my water view something fierce! I can't quite say what nook on the patio is my favorite, but rest assured, I'm trying them all out, one sunset at a time! 

Moved In...

Well, we are officially moved in... sort of! All the things are here including millions of boxes stacked up in the garage but the house is far from being unpacked and put away. Right now, it's downright overwhelming, but once that little light at the end of the tunnel starts glimmering, I'll be loving every minute of playing house!

I'll wait until I have things a bit more decorated to share final interior pictures, but I will share some fun drone pictures that our builder had taken!

House Update...

I just can't stand it! There is so much fun going on over at the new house that I just had to share! For me, this is when it all comes together! We are just a few weeks out and I can't wait!

-Cabinet doors have been put on

-Countertops

-Glass cabinet doors and showers 

-Backsplash

-Toilets, faucets and sinks

-Electrical plugs

-Sod and flowerbeds

-Cabinet hardware

-Doorknobs

-Golf simulator

-Wood floors

-Mailbox 

-All 3 ladders (pantry, my closet, and library)

-Appliances

Some of these things are complete, some are in progress, but really, there isn't much left to do! If everything falls into place just perfectly, I MIGHT be spending my 41st birthday in my dream home! If not, it will be so close I'll celebrate anyway! 

House Updates...

Y'all, it's coming together! Everyday, there are multiple crews working hard and fast. Our deadline  for closing on this house is quickly approaching and it has both Micah and I wondering if it will all get done in time. 

This very well could be my very last house update before it's ALL DONE!

The painting is 99% done... just a few little walls here and there. The mancave is the most beautiful Rosemary green and I can't wait to see it as a taxidermy backdrop! The mancave floors have been scraped and stained and they are moving on the rest of the floors. All cabinets have been painted and stained, fence has gone up, gutters done, pool pebbled and filled and the putting green is done! So much excitement everyday!

They are currently installing the golf simulator, sinks and countertops!!
