Measuring big...

So I had an appointment with my new doctor yesterday. I love her! I am actually measuring in at 30 weeks. She thinks I just have 10 weeks left!! That is a little scary considering his nursery has yet to be started! However, if he came a week earlier than expected, I'd be so excited!!!

I also booked an appointement with Remi's pediatrician--it is the same one I used growing up!

Now we are trying to decide what classes we should sign up for at the hospital. Any suggestions? I'm not sure we want to do them all, but we want to make sure we get the important ones in.

Happy 4th of July from Little Anne!

if you plan on nursing, i highly recommend the nursing classes. it really taught me a lot about the 'mechanics' of nursing. i didn't realize that it takes practice!

i didn't take the regular birthing classes because i knew i was having a c-section...so i can't really vouch for those.

glad you like your new doctor! having a good OB really helps

I also recommend the nursing classes, and if you're delivering at shannon, they have a good general birthing class that goes over everything, including a c-section if it's necessary. I don't know what they offer over at community. What doctors are you using?

Ha! I love little Anne's getup! How cool that you will see the same pediatrician you used growing up! (do you remember the Friends episode where Ross went to his pediatrician?! So funny) And that's awesome that you are measuring at 30 wks!!! Any week off that time will help with this summer heat!

I've heard the same thing about nursing classes, I think I might take one of those...although my doctor did recommened waiting until closer to delivery because it needs to be fresh on your mind. I am not taking any of the regular classes, it just gives me anxiety!

We took the breastfeeding and childbirth preparation classes. I thought they were both great, especially if you are interested in a natural delivery. I feel much more prepared now.

Our boy is measuring big, too!

Lauri, I miss you and Little sooo much! It's just not the same without you at work. We have an office fish now, but he is not nearly as cute and cuddly as Little. Ten weeks left, eh? That's going to fly by!

Hey girl! I promise the baby bedding is coming. Just working on the pillows, and finishing up quilt. It is so cute and I really hope you like it.
