Like a Weed...

Remi is growing up so fast! It seems like he went from baby to toddler overnight! Sometimes it just blows my mind the things he can do and understand! And sometimes it blows my mind how much of a STINKER he can be!

Remi now seems to understand everything we say to him. Most of the time he will follow directions. However, I think sometimes he pretends he doesn't understand and completely ignores us.

Lately, he has become so picky about things. When he eats, he is constantly holding his hands out to us to wipe them because he doesn't like anything on them. Really, he does this with anything that gets on his hands!

He is constantly shutting doors and cabinets that are left open....I guess he always sees me doing this

He will go the refridgerator and grunt for me to open it...once I do, he will most likely get out his sippy cup and strawberry syrup telling me that he wants strawberry milk! Pretty smart cookie.

He LOVES to drink out of real cups. I let him do this at home with water and every great once in a while with milk. Of course, it always ends up getting spilt, but he LOVES to use big boy cups. I figure what can a little water hurt and plus it's great practice. Anyways, once he spills it, he freaks out at the mess. I will say 'go get a towel and clean it up' and he will instantly go get the hand towel on the oven door and attempt to clean up his mess. He has become quite a little clean freak (with everything but toys...he seems to think it's Mommy's job to clean up all the toys!)

The hardest time of day has become TEETH BRUSHING. He used to do great, and then all of the sudden, it is a HUGE meltdown battle every time. This morning Micah literally had to come in the bathroom and brush his teeth while I held him down...NOT FUN!

He also LOVES to throw things away! Anytime I tell him 'this is trash....go throw it away' he is happy to do it! There have been several times that I have found toys in the trash and even one time he got the laundry and trash confused and tried to throw away one of my shirts!

He also loves to flush the toilet. Since I no longer get to use the restroom in privacy, Remi will anxiously stand in front of me and wait until I am done just so he can flush the toilet! However, I always close the lid and then flush, so he also has to make sure the lid is closed before he will flush!

He has also learned, that when I get out of the shower, I will most likely be blow drying my hair (have I mentioned his obsession with blow dryers?). So once he sees the towel on my head he will run to my vanity where I keep my blow dryer, grunt for me to open it, take the blow dryer, run to the outlet where I plug it in and wait for me to dry my hair. Once I'm done, he of course, HAS to drag it around the house like it's the best toy ever created!

Remi LOVES blueberries. This is the first time EVER that he ate his whole bowl of oatmeal...probably because it was blueberry oatmeal!

Just look at that sneaky little grin...I'm telling you, we are in trouble with this little toot!

One of Remi's FAVORITE things to do....get into bags. Whether it be Micah's work bag, my makeup bag, purses...anything that has lots of treasures in it for him to muddle through

Goodies that he found from Micah's work bag....phone charger, pen, and a business cardholder...and away he goes with it all!

Remi got this little puppy for Christmas and he loves to pull (or should I say drag) it around the house. He actually does pretty good, he just gets going to fast around corners and then the puppy falls over, so he stops, picks it up and is at it again!

This is also the day he insisted on wearing one sock and one shoe that is borderline too small

All ready for church...notice that he is playing with my makeup brush....Micah was thrilled about this :)
