We have two services one at 8:30 and one at 10:45... class is at 9:45. Remi naps at 9:30. So here's the deal. Either we go to early service (he's usually up by 7 anyway) and come straight home so our fussy baby can nap or wake him up early from his nap to go to late service. Either way, we end up skipping class because they usually end up texting us to say Remi is out of control crying and they can't calm him down. This child gets VERY out of hand when he is tired!- so skipping his morning nap is not really an option at this point!
Anayways, by the time I get Remi breakfast, cleaned up and dishes done, I am frantically trying to get ready while Micah plays with Remi (when all Remi really wants is to get in the shower with me). Then Micah hops in the shower to get ready while I try to finish getting ready, entertain Remi and get him ready. If we are all ready on time with smiles on our face it's a miracle!
Here are some pictures of this past Sunday...
Don't be fooled...Remi may look adorable, but this was right after a HUGE meltdown while Micah was trying to get him dressed. Micah does not have the patience for jeans, a onesie, a sweater, socks and shoes....so I while I'm throwing on my clothes all I want to do is rescue both of them!

After church...
full bellies, in comfy clothes and everyone happy because we can finally relax! Ahh, the joy of Sunday afternoons!

I hear ya...
I dread Sunday mornings too. We have to be at church at 9 for a coffee/donuts thing, then class at 9:30, then church at 10:30 {and I can't really skip, ya know?}. I have to get the kids ready and out the door by myself {he goes early to prepare} and then I have to keep them quiet while their dad preaches. I don't think I've heard a single sermon in the past few months. It's so much work to not hear a thing!
But... Sunday afternoons are wonderful. The kids are exhausted so they nap and I totally veg out. That makes it all a little better.
