A Treat For Mommy...

I guess the boys felt sorry for me because Micah left, because....

THEY BOTH SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT LAST NIGHT!!!

Ever since we moved Remi to his toddler bed, he usually wakes up once or twice a night. Lots of times he ends up in our bed. But, last night he didn't wake up at all!!! They went to bed around 9 and didn't make a peep until around 6 this morning!! Of course, I didn't sleep very well because I kept waking up out of habit!

Thanks boys!!! I am not naive enough to think this might actually happen again soon, but I'll take what I can get :)

Tomorow Roen will be 6 weeks old and yesterday Remi was 21 months old!

Last month was the month that Remi really started talking talking. He repeats anything you ask him. I feel like this was HUGE in our world! He says 'oh no' whenever he makes a mess...so cute! He also likes to tell us 'no' to everything! He has also started pointing at pictures and saying 'this'- meaning who is this and wanting me to say their name. These days he loves green beans, orange juice, cheetos, pasta, cucumbers with ranch, gerber crunchies and of course, goldfish. He has his occasional sweet moments with Roen, but for the most part, he wants his Momma all to himself. He likes to pick on Roen when I am holding him by doing things like pulling his pacifier out of his mouth, pulling his legs and pointing at his bed/bouncer/swing for me to put him 'away'! Despite his jealousy, he can be sweet as honey to his little brother. The little stinker has started covering his eyes anytime he is doing something naughty and gets caught. He thinks we can't see him! Ha!

Roen is the cutest little thing ever! He smiles and laughs and it just melts my heart. He still sleeps most of the time and when he is awake he is usually ok doing whatever. He is holding his head up and pushing with his legs like crazy. He has started outgrowing lots of his 3 month clothing already. He eats about every 3-4 hours and has gotten better about spitting up. However, that boy can eat and when he is really hungry, he usually ends up overeating!

With Micah being gone, I have lots of time with just me and the boys and though it wears me out like crazy, I am constantly reminded how blessed I am to have my boys.

It's fun to read about how they are progressing together as brothers. It's nice to also have an idea of when Kennedie may start to talk.

Micah also used to cover his eyes when he was little and doing something wrong! I love that Remi does this too.......of course when I have him he doesn't do anything wrong!! Oh no,do I sound like a grandma(Na) or what?
Sorry!
