Santa Monica 2011

Whew, what a fun vacation! Most of the time I am ready to get home...this time I did not want to leave! We had so much fun! We went with Micah's entire family and my mom came along to help nanny when we did things the boys couldn't do...like fancy restaurants.

Off to DFW Airport...
We got to ride in style to the airport in this limo. It was my mom's and the boy's first time in a limo. Remi LOVED it!!!











The Airport & Airplane...
I was really nervous about how Remi would do in the airport and airplane. There were so many of us to help keep him entertained, that it went pretty well. He slept for about half the flight there and all the way back. After he woke up on the way there, he got a little bored and little loud, but hey, what can you do? We made it through and thankfully no one said anything.














As soon as the plane took off, Remi was out!

The Beach...
This was the first time the boys had been to the beach. It was actually really chilly so we kept Roen bundled up. Remi was not a fan of the water and thought the sand was pretty icky at first. He eventually decided the sand was ok and didn't mind getting it all over him.













Fourth of July...
On the fourth, we went out for breakfast, played at the beach and went to Bubba Gump for dinner on the Santa Monica pier.



















Hollywood, Beverly Hills, & LA...
This is the day we went sight seeing and shopping. I didn't get many pictures this day because shopping is serious business!








Remi and Collin with their brand new Build-A-Bears

Disney...
We had so much fun at Disney. Remi LOVED the rides! Micah and I only got to ride one 'big' ride but we had so much fun watching Remi ride we didn't care.

Bike Riding & Venice Beach...
We rode bikes to Venice Beach and it was so fun! The best part....I got to ride a KATE SPADE bike!!! We even got to see a freak show! There were lots of weird and interesting things to see at Venice Beach!














Santa Monica Pier...
We went to the Pier several times, but on this day, we rode the Ferris Wheel and the famous Carousel. It was so fun! Micah rode on a horse with Remi and I rode on the carriage with Roen.
