By Jodi Picoult
What a page-turner!!!
I have read several of Picoult's other books, and this is one of my favorites! Picoult is know for writing about "gray" topics...topics that don't always have a right or wrong answer and that tend to very controversial.
This novel is about a boy with Asperger's Syndrome- a form of autism. It was so interesting to get a glimpse into the life of Jacob and his family. Not only was this a great story, but I learned alot about a topic I had almost no knowledge in!
As if Jacob's life couldn't get anymore complicated, he becomes the suspect of a brutal murder. Picoult has you guessing and second guessing yourself until the very end. I felt like this book had a bit of a slow start, but once you get past the first 50 pages, it is really hard to put down. It is a pretty long book, but don't let that discourage you...I ate up every single word!
