This book was really good. I chose this book because on Amazon, it had 4.5 stars. I think I would only give it 3. It was a short and easy read. I really liked the story, but I guess I felt like the character development lacked. I found myself wanting more from this book. It is based during the depression and tells a story of a single mom and her autistic child. When Mr. Rainwater comes into her life, everything changes. By the middle of the book, I was hooked and HAD to find out what happens. I was surprised by the ending, but appreciated that everything wasn't necessarily wrapped up in a pretty bow.
