by Carrie Ryan
This series is about zombies. I love reading things like this. It is a little bit scary, intense and totally would never happen in real life. That's why I read, to escape into my own world of fiction and imagination. I think I would get bored with reading if everything I read was believable.
Book One: The Forest of Hands and Teeth...
I was a bit dissappointed in this book. It started off so good and really, was so riveting until the very end. I HATED how this book ended. I felt very sudden and I'm not gonna lie, I DID NOT want to read the sequel. I was that mad at the ending. However, since I had already bought the other two books, I had to read it.
Book Two: The Dead-Tossed Waves
This book picks up where the first book leaves off many years later. At first, I didn't understand why the author did this. I felt like I missed so much of what happened in that time. That being said, this book was great. It was even better than the last and I loved it to the very end. This book made me look forward to the final book.
Book Three: The Dark and HOllow Places
This book was most definitly my favorite. It is a nail bitter 'til the very end. What is so interesting about this series, is that each book picks up from the previous, but each one is told from a different character's perspective. I loved getting into these character's head! The ending lets you finish some parts on you own, which I have found that I love. I love to get to create a fairy tale ending if I so desire...and I usually do. What a great series! Zombies, love and surviving!
