Today we had his wellness checkup and he weighed in at 24lbs (48%) and is 33.25 inches long (79%). This is actually a pound heavier and an inch longer than Remi was at 18 months! That is funny to me considering Roen was exactly a pound heaver than Remi at birth!
Roen's sleeping habits are a gift from God! He sleeps from about 7:30-7:30. I never hear a peep out of him. He naps like clockwork from about 12:30-2:30.
He continues to be a great eater. He likes to eat almost anything. His favorites are macaroni and cheese, carrots, fruit snacks and cheese.
He can wears mostly 12-18 clothing
He loves wearing shoes, Mickey Mouse, and bathes
He usually stays in my arms most of the day. If he plays independently, it is most likely because I am sitting down where he can see me, or I have snuck out of the room
He loves to follow Remi around! He has also started to stand up to Remi. In fact, he pesters and instigates a lot of squabbles with him.
Roen's favorite mode of defense is pinching and hitting
He is still the smiliest little ball of sweetness
Talks alot. Remi didn't become a big talker until he was 2- 2 1/2 but I think Roen has picked it up faster listening to Remi. He can repeat almost anything when he is in the mood. He also said his first phrase several weeks ago! He said "open this, please"...it sounded like "opin dis peez"
He loves to clap and sometimes I get to hear him sing. That is probably one of my favorite things right now...hearing him sing. It is just precious!!
He has gotten pretty selfish with his hugs and kisses :(
This little booger is just growing like a weed!!! He is just so sweet it almost hurts sometimes. You know how some babies you just want to squeeze...that is how it is with Roen. I just want to squeeze him and eat him up all at the same time!
