by Sophie Hannah
This was murder mystery book about mother's with children who have suffered crib death, aka SIDs. And it was so good! The particular women in this book were accused of killing their babies... some are guilty and some are not. And some you never really know.
It took me a good 100 pages before I was really into this book. A bit longer than I prefer, but nonetheless, it was so enthralling once it got rolling. There were tons of characters in this book, which I sometimes find hard to keep up with. Though there were times I was going bad and rereading trying to remember who did what when, overall, I was able to follow the story. I also found Sophie's writing to be a bit unique. It took me a while to adapt to her style.
I like books like this. Books that are a bit different, and a bit hard to pinpoint exactly why. This psychological thriller has made me a follower of Sophie Hannah. Can't wait to delve into her other novels!
