The Time Keeper

by Mitch Albom

As with most of Albom's other books, this one was a very quick read. It could easily be read in one setting. Although Albom is not one of my most favorite authors, I do enjoy reading his work. The Time Keeper is no exception.

As The Father of Time, Dor is confined to a cave for what seems an eternity. During his confinement, he is subject to hear all the voices of those who wish for more time. Sometimes less time. The book revolves around the last decisions two very different characters will make. In the midst of helping them see the precious gift time really is, Dor is finally able to finish his story that was started thousands of years ago. Truly a touching story with a great message.

One of my favorite quotes from the book:

"The reason God limits our days...to make each one precious"
