Handprints...

The other afternoon, the kids were painting and they put their sweet little handprints all over the window. I just can't quite bring myself to clean them off.

Things are getting a bit sentimental around here. Last Friday, we got a contract on our house and should close early December. Our house has been on the market for sometime, and although I am happy we finally have a buyer, I was hoping it wouldn't sell until after the New Year. I really wanted one more Christmas in our home. In the seven years Micah and I have been married, we have never stayed in one place longer than 2 years- this home included. But this was Roen's first real home and where we have watched Remi grow into a little boy. This has been our first real home as a family of four.

I decided that I will keep these little handprints on our windows until we move to remind me of all the sweet memories we have made and the 'handprints' we will leave here.

Well this post brings tears to my eyes! What a blessing to have been able to live in such a wonderful home and make so many memories. It is such an awesome place and I know it will be difficult to say goodbye! I am thankful for the times that I have spent with you all there...it was paradise for raising two precious boys. The beauty of memories are that they live forever in your HEART!!
