This book is pretty popular right now and has even been made into a movie. I have to be honest, I'm not typically drawn toward books that are trendy because I have a weird thing about reading what everyone else is reading, but it was given to me for my birthday. I finished it in two days... thats a 'I couldn't put it down' book in my world.
Honestly, I didn't really even want to love this book. I had just finished an awesome book and wasn't really ready to move onto the next, but HATE not having a book in my hands, so I picked this book off the shelf and gave it a go. As I read the first few chapters, I didn't think I was going to like it much at all.... but that all changed...
The last half of the book not only grabbed my heart, but shook every emotion I have. I laughed, cried- a lot and stayed up way too late finishing this book only wanting to read it again and again and again. I ended up downloading the soundtrack and have been listening to it on repeat for several days. I doubt I will ever watch the movie because it will never do this book justice but because this book won't leave my mind, there is a part of me that is tempted.
I have since started another book... but all I really want to do is sit down and read this book again.
Buy this book, get a big cup of hot tea, turn off your phone, curl up in a corner and read this book in one setting... you will cry and be touched by this heart breaking-ly beautiful story that will refuse to leave the most inner part of your emotions...
The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green
This book will have a very special place on my bookshelf :)

Thanks for the heads up. I heard the movie was awesome but will opt for the book!! Wish I had it for today...too cold to do anything else!
