A Thanksgiving Program...

Friday morning, Roen put on a little Thanksgiving show at his school. Unfortunately, Micah wasn't able to attend due to a work meeting, but thankfully Na was able to join the fun.

Last year, Roen was sick and wasn't able to participate, so this little production was extra special to my momma heart. Roen has been practicing his songs all week long and was so proud of the little feast he helped make!

Here is the traditional turkey the kids make every year. Each child takes home a feather and with the help of parents, decorate it to go on the turkey...

This is the third year in a row I have been helping the at least one of the boys decorate a feather. The first year, I pretty much did Remi's for him, last year, I traced their handprints and glued them all over their feathers, and this year, Roen and I collected leaves from our backyard and Joe T's at luch one day to create this little masterpiece. Roen loved getting to use the glue gun!

This is his sweet little class saying their Thanksgiving prayer before lunch. Roen kept opening his eyes and peeking at me :)

Cutest pilgrim ever! He did a good job decorating his feather. I giggled when I read that he was thankful for his bed....that boys does like to sleep!
