Mother's Day 2016...

I didn't get a picture with my boys this Mother's Day, but I'm trying not to let it be the end of the world.

But, I did have the best Mother's Day ever. We spent the morning in Ft. Worth with friends eating brunch at Joe T's. Yes, we missed church, but sometimes a break from routine does everybody good. After lunch, all the men and children came to our house while I spent the rest of the day with three of my very best friends having a good break from the 'mom' thing.

Time with my boys and time with friends- a great balance, to a great day!

Right when I woke up, Remi ran to bring me the special little cards he had made me. He was so excited and adamant about waiting until Mother's Day for my cards!

I know that Mother's Day means many different things for many different people. But for me, it is a day where I fully appreciate the blessings of my family. I have been blessed beyond measure with children I love so much (whom have learned how to love from my own amazing mother) I could eat them up and a husband that encourages, appreciates and truly makes me a better mom.

Sounds like the perfect day! The "handmade" cards are the best. Certainly a great way to start a special day and the day kept getting better. You are an amazing momma and wife. Love you bunches!!!
