This is something that has been planned from the day we did house plans, but we wanted to wait until both boys were good swimmers. That time has finally come, so on Friday, they started digging and by the time the boys got home from school, there was a giant hole in our backyard!!
These two sat up on the counter, drinking Sprite and just dreamed of the days to come when they can swim every single day!
We are little fish around here- well, I'm more like a mermaid, but even so, we are very, very excited to have a place of our very own to splash away the hot Texas summers!!
These guys mean business and have been moving super fast! Today, they are putting in the rebar and by the end of the week we should have the concrete sprayed!

Super exciting news! I can't imagine walking out and jumping in a pool. A little slice of heaven right out the back door. I bet the boys will have lots of stories to share about the building of this pool. Keep the pics coming. Heck...I'm pretty excited myself. So happy for y'all.
