Last week, with all the ice, sleet and wintry weather we had, the boys had two delayed starts and one early dismissal at school. It made for an eventful and short week around here! Wednesday was our worst day- it rained all morning and then started heaving sleeting that afternoon. School started at 10 and while Micah and I were having lunch out of town, we got a call that school was letting out at one for dangerous driving conditions. Thankfully, we were able to get to the school at only a few minutes after one.
Remi's class had been working hard at building houses with snacks. Remi was so proud of his that he asked if I would come to his classroom to see his creation before it got messed up trying to get it out to the car. Activities like this are his most favorite...

That’s a neat idea! I’m not surprised at his creation. A new version of a gingerbread house. Great job, Remi! Hoping this winter weather is on the way out!! Love y’all
