Last weekend, we threw Remi's 9th Birthday Party. He chose golf as his theme this year- Remi loves golfing, especially with Micah and so I felt like this party represented him perfectly at age 9. We planned to have a putting competition along with lots of swimming, but with all of the tropical storms rolling in, it literally poured all day long! So swimming went out the window, the party got moved to the shop and the kids were none the wiser. We did presents, food and cake inside and then the kids did putting and football in the garage portion of the shop. We had trophies for the top three putters and I think all the kids had a blast competing for those trophies! It was a wild, wet and memorable party for sure!
I put so much time, love and thought into celebrating big for these boys of mine. My goal at the end of every party is for them to know that every little thing- from the flavor of the cake to the color of the banners- was just for them!
Another "great" birthday party! I always love seeing the pictures because I miss so much of what all is going on. Some of the expressions on Remi's face are priceless. My favorite is probably the one of him blowing out his candles. So thankful to have been there to celebrate with you all.
I think it's safe to say this party was a smashing success...just like all the others! I think you are as good of a party planner as Nicholas Sparks is a writer....neither of you ever disappoint!! Love & hugs to you all
