So, when I married Micah, he could not believe I had never been to a Ranger's Game or even a Mav's game. Sports is basically his life. He loved it as a kid, he played intramurals in college and even to this day, he is either out hitting golf balls, in the back practicing with the boys or watching sports on TV. For the first time in my life, I am literally surrounded by sports.
All this to say, the boys now love sports. They love playing them, the three of them now watch sports on TV together, and they love sneaking away to watch the varsity boys play any chance they can. So, Micah and I decided to surprise the boys with tickets to go see their very first Mav's game. And to make it even better, we got extra tickets so they could bring along some of their very best friends.
The whole experience was so fun and as I look at all these pictures, they make me realize how much of a 'boy mom' I really am. I never dreamed buying jerseys, filling up my car with boys and stopping for beef jerky and Icee's on the way to a basketball game could be so much fun...
It was Superhero day, so they handed out free Mavs capes...

We were on the big screen all night and even heard we made some TV time...

To say there were excited by our 1 point win would be an understatement...

Oh my goodness...these little guys look like they just won the Lottery! I guess in many ways they did. I love the expressions on their faces and the final pictures are priceless. You might need to submit those to Mark Cuban...guaranteed to bring a big smile to anyone's face. Of course I couldn't really watch the game because I was too busy scanning the crowd looking for you all.(lol) It was a fantastic ending!!
