Valentine's Day 2018...

We woke up early Valentine's morning ready for an exciting day of parties, sweet treats and exchanging cards with friends. The boys started their day with breakfast and opening all their Valentine goodies from us, Anne and Cici. It was the perfect way to start their day!

All ready to head to school...

Remi's class didn't really have a big party, so I got to go see Roen at his party. While I was up there, I did go peek in at Remi to see him and his buddies opening cards and snacking on treats too though.

After school, we grabbed the dogs from the house and headed straight to the lake. It was an amazing 80 degrees outside and we didn't have a minute to loose! Once we got out to the house, we ran out back, hopped on the boat and enjoyed every single minute of the sun on our faces, music in our ears and just cruising the water. The dogs love boat rides- they cozy up with me on the back, poke their little snouts up in the air and let the wind flap their ears to their heart's content.

We ended Valentine's with our closest friends, where Micah cooked up some beef tenderloin with potatoes and salad for everyone. The kids may have stayed up a bit past their bedtime on a school night, but sometimes bedtimes just need to be broken. Our Valentine's Day was absolute perfection!

"Absolute perfection" is a great description of y'all's Valetine's Day! It will be hard to top this one. I so enjoyed the pictures of both the boys classrooms. Some of them made me laugh so hard. Roen's class looks like they've had too much sugar and the little girl behind Remi eating her cupcake is so cute! That's how I imagine myself eating a cupcake....there's just not an easy way to get your mouth around it. You can definitely say a good time was had by all.
Love you all!
